“I want to be famous!” remarked the young man.
“Go and create magic!” replied his father one day.
He chose the perfect career, one that he loved,
It had what he craved – adventure and thrill!
“Wait and see!” he promised his doting Mom,
“I’ll get my photo in the newspaper!
One day you will be proud of me,
When I return with accolades galore.”
Months went by, he was the best at his job,
The blue-eyed boy of the group, adored by all.
Girls swooned over his charisma, his good looks,
The very gods in heaven smiled down at him.
Claiming victory as his soldiers struggled on;
With his last breath, he smiled, “Yeh dil maange more!”
His photo finally found its way into the newspaper.
